Bartimaeus, Inc. contributed and participated with HomeLife Communities Raleigh, NC in helping ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition Team build the Riggins Family’s new home and remodeled the Community Center. 

The Extreme Makeover Home Edition project had two parts to it.  The Riggins Family’s new house was the big part where Bartimaeus installed the blinds.  These blinds were donated by SelectBlinds.com an internet based retail window treatment company.  The second part of the project was the Community Center across the street from the new house.  Bartimaeus installed (13) Motorized Blackout shades in the Community Center’s Auditorium.  These quiet low voltage (QED) shades were donated by Lutron Shading Solutions of Ashland, VA. The installation started at 8:30 AM and was completed by 10:30 AM.  From 10:30 AM till 3:30 PM Bartimaeus’ extreme motorized shade installers made final low voltage connections and tested the motors.  When the Bartimaeus’ team left, the shades were operating and looking great.  You will notice Bartimaeus’ motorized shades in the windows above the Community Center’s mural.
