The Georgia Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors
(ABC) announced today that Bartimaeus Inc. has earned the
association's Excellence In Construction (EIC) Award for the
Roswell Street Baptist Church project located in Marietta,
Georgia. Bartimaeus, Inc. representatives received the award
at ABCs 2006 EIC Awards Celebration in the Finishes Category.
ABC Georgia has designed the EIC program to recognize excellent
performance in the construction industry. In addition, the
EIC program recognizes innovation, quality and vision of the
winning contractors. The competition was open to all ABC Georgia
members who have completed their projects by September 15,
2006. The winning projects were judged on a variety of project
areas such as safety, personnel management, quality control,
scheduling, and degree of difficulty in completing a project.
The Roswell Street Baptist Church (RSBC) window treatment
project required a custom built product that was not available
from any manufacturer. Bartimaeus, Inc. met the project challenges
in providing RSBC with a window treatment that addressed there
specific needs. Bartimaeus is very proud of this project because
it demonstrates a willingness to think outside the box. Roswell
Street Baptist Church now has a window treatment solution
that, when not in use, is completely hidden or when needed,
provides complete control of the natural light, all at the
touch of a button.
